It is the ultimate picture of the power of love to give and renew life. But the sacrificial events leading up to and through Christ’s resurrection were conceived, foretold, and realized by love. And those are indeed all part of the Easter narrative. Some may say the main message of Easter is joy, or hope, or renewal.
